A new patio was installed in Ongar, Essex, by Vantage Drives and Patios.
We removed the old decking on the patio area to readjust the levels. This area had a small pond that we excavated and reshaped to create a larger and more decorative pond area. We built a new retaining wall from bricks and filled it with a type 1 MOT foundation. We made new steps using the same bricks. Once the base was in, we machine-compacted the entire area and laid down our mortar bed for putting down the Indian sandstone. The Indian sandstone (Fossil Mint range) was then laid on top and grouted with a suitable grout finish.
